I believe this might be the place..I respectfully request consideration to be a Moderator for the Wolfman I hope to get to know the others and I enjoy watching the movies. I'm on West Coast time and that allows me to be awake a bit longer and hopefully cover a time zone most are sleeping. I served 10 years in the military as a combat unit Military Police officer, so I do follow orders well LOL this is 1dark_angel btw

Well... I decided to make a Post to respectfully request to be a moderator for wolfman9_3 channel :D. I have gathered all this info from my experience after all my years of being a avid viewer of justin.tv
ReplyDelete- I always follow the rules of the chat room, to be a mod you obviously need to know the rules so you can enforce them, and more importantly when to enforce them.
-I am polite and respectful to all fellow Justin.tv members and the host. You can't be hated by people, chat can be very vicious at times and when your mod a you need to learn not to take things personally or too serious, i am very melo in everything i do and i am never one to point fingers and respect everyones opinions and faiths.
-I am helpful and never hesitate to address peoples concerns about the channel or the rules or other links that people require.
-i promise to enforce rules without the power! i strongly believe everyone should be treated with respect and curtsy, so the last think i would want to do is ban or time out anyone without a proper reason or warning.
- i am a active chatter, in any chat room and create interesting and intelligent topics to talk about whether something about the movie or about sci-fi in general.
-I have loved everything about sci-fi films ever since i was a kid, it is my favorite genre and i love how wolfman9_3 is showcasing all these classic and modern sci-fi films for everyones pleasure and makes me want to be a part of the team to help the channel grow even more!
Lastly i would like to thank you for reading all this, i know its long xD and i really apperciate your time and consideration.

What modding means to me " i belive a mods job is the hand of the host " we help anwser questions , solve issues provide information if asked , making sure that the rules are clear and not to be broken a good understanding of the room dynamics and english laungage is a must and we are not here to have power we are here so the chan is here tomorrow

i am retired USMC but do have ranch work small 1, but also ride ranchers land fence line old fashion way w horse, or new atv cattle round ups every now n then , hence in n out during days , sometimes tryg to warm up or jus slow moving due to medical, my pic is from wagon train ride 257 miles old re-enacting deadwood, sd to miles city, mn stage coach route.
as w serene_canda.... i dont care for zoombie movies but pretty much everything else sci fi n more interests
it seems from our talks we r around same age w as is case w other mods on avg
i lik ur g-rated channel talk n dont put w trolls greatly appreciated but there r times no mods when they strike an i am up
like webs w pain at nite up various hrs im in MST area for ur info
there r days i dont work n ranch or buildg new home so can finally get insurance on it ; i do scavenge from local construction sites, no trash dump run 4 them then works good for all, w permission or directly n help clean up contractors extra materials has done me well for this place on economy; done home wiring
i feel i would do u good u could go temp mod; naby times will hav ur strean w showing but on another stream , mayb a movie i havnt seen etc or lik sal in a SG stream or star truck channel

ReplyDeleteI am an English teacher in Korea. I am usually on the Channel week days from ~Midnight Pacific Time to 7/8 am Pacific.
I've been on the Channel since mid January and I have been using it as my TV replacement. Aside from the odd late class or teacher dinner here in Korea I should be around during those times stated above.
syfymilnerd told me to request as I have been keeping people updated on the current movies and such.
I don't like the viewers who are crude and I really appreciate the G-rated chat. I don't like to be overly zealous in rule enforcement, but the rules can help silence those who are particularly bad.
syfymilnerd also said I should explain my name. In Korean the word for foreigner is waygook. gook is a suffice meaning country. Korea is Hangook. Why gook is a clever pun on foreigners always asking questions. No racial slurs or anything of that sort.
I really like Sci-fi and fantasy movies. I am not a big fan of zombies, vampires, or horror movies, but I appreciate the obscure movies you show. I hope to make some suggestions later too.
If you are open to foreign movies with English subtitles let me know. I know some good Korean sci-fi movies, but they are in Korean. So you might not want subtitled movies.
